Midweek update

1st team victory at Shortwood Utd Dev

The 1st team won 4-1 at Shortwood Utd Dev last night to progress into the 1/4 finals of the Supplementary Cup.

On a decent surface given the recent weather goals from Jordan Roberts, Nick Stanley, Dan Drewett and Conor Waldon saw us progress to to a home tie v either Newent Town or Clanfield with a date tbc.

On Saturday the 1st team are at the Elms in a crucial re-arranged league fixture v Flackwell Heath. Our visitors lie 4th in the table and are on a decent run so a tough game in prospect.

The reserves game on Saturday has been postponed as Moreton Rangers have a re-arranged Gloucestershire FA County Cup fixture.

On Monday the 1st team have another fixture, away v Woodley Utd. We have agreed with the Hellenic League to bring this game forward (from 9th April) to help them with the fixture backlog some clubs are suffering. KO is 7.45 at the Rivermoor Stadium.

There is football at the Elms next Wednesday night as the reserves take on local rivals Faringdon Town in the league.

The club will be open on Friday evening from 7.00 pm, from noon on Saturday and from 1100 am until 7.00 pm on Sunday. Tri cast tickets available Fri night and Sat until 2.30 pm.

We will keep you updated here with any further fixture changes that may arise.

Don't forget our Wilts FA Senior Cup semi final v Salisbury FC at Melksham Town FC on Tues 20th March 7.45 ko.
