Last night we were delighted that our new sponsors/Committee room, named in the memory of Middy Midwinter was formally opened by Middy's widow Pauline who was joined by family and friends and many club members.
Thanks to everyone who has helped us create this great new facility.
Our new fixture boards are also now in position, one by the club and the other at the Golf Course entrance. Once again great effort by those involved in providing these.
No first team game yesterday but tomorrow, Mon 27th, we take on Cirencester Town at the Save on Tyres Stadium with a 3.00 ko. Our visitors yesterday overcame our FA Cup conquerers, Windsor FC , 5-0 so a tough game is in prospect.
Spectator parking is at SN6 7SJ please, our new sign will show the way.
2 reserve games have taken place this week, a 0-0 away draw at Clanfield '85 on Tuesday was followed by a 4-1 home win over Faringdon Town yesterday, so 4 points from 6 the same as the 1st team.
Our coach to Barnstaple Town next Sat leaves at 9.30 am, please be on time.
We will also be running a coach to Street FC on 15th Sept, departing 1130 am, seats are £10 adults £5 under 16. Seats can be booked at the club or by contacting any Committee member.
